28th Annual Quilt Display

In celebration of National Quilting Day (March 16, 2024), the Johnson County Library and Buffalo Quilting Gals will present the 28th annual quilt show during the month of March.  County residents of all ages are encouraged to bring new or vintage quilts for display in this free, non-judged community show.  Each quilt will be identified by maker, quilter, pattern and date, if known.  Quilts will be handled very carefully.  Registration forms are available HERE, at the library and at the Buffalo Quilt Gals website:  buffaloquiltinggals.weebly.com.

Speaker:  Jennifer Romanoski, Educator, Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum
She will be speaking about conservation and preservation of textiles, using a power point presentation and sharing about how to preserve and store items such as clothing, uniforms, saddles and blankets.  The public is invited to attend.
